Self-Mindfulness: The Cloud Will Determine Your Livelihood

I recently attended a job interview. Though the exchange seemed to be human-interactive, emails and assessments sent by whom I thought to be a real person. It turned out an algorithm will determine whether I get the job or not, based on trigger words in my resume and my answers on the assessment. My natural curiosity made me move to inquire. When a real human did not showup to the “interactive review”, I called the actual company and inquired. I was told by a human that someone will contact me if I get the job. Wait..so a human doesn’t determine that??🤔 The HR person could not answer my questions because she hadn’t yet seen my resume; the emails I interacted with signed by “Greg” and “Samantha” were from a cloud in the virtual air. I want to know more.😲

Self-Preparation: Our Daily Bread

How many of us are transitioning into Bethlehem while in unfavorable conditions? We are spiritually hungry but feeding our stomachs. We are depressed and laughing at memes to make us happy..when what we lack is VATILIY. We are working and seeking approval for a job well done to boost our pride. We are grieving, we are struggling in different ways, we are too guiding others in their journeys, we are being human. Yet we are different. We can say we are imperfect while shifting through ups and downs.

In the highs and lows is our harvest. Prosperity brings onlookers and enemies during highs, but the land is scarce of support during the lows–the planning(planting) season.

There are those around us who have given themselves roles of deciding how much human we can be and when…at their own will. If we just do a little more of this, or less of that, how, and in what tone. We can’t pivot if we can’t move about without fair judgement.

God adds extra to our ordinary without even looking at our resumes. God gets past our awkwardness, our non-perfect personalities, and uses our nondescript selves to change lives.

When we question ourselves at the hesitation of others who don’t know what to do with us, God says, “Only I judge fairly.”

We think in the times of trouble that God hides us….nope. We are pushed to make change! Change requires that we MOVE.

I remember what I’ve been through and marvel at the grounds I stand on today. What I’ve been through has always been tools of empowerment to help others help themselves, even sometimes while I’m in my experiences, I am there for others. I’ve stopped asking God why so many years ago. God has taken me through dimensions of fires, and every time I think yes this is it…nope! I get to multitasking
…building my ark and getting rest before the incoming CHANGES.

Think about what you’ve been through; do you think those who judge you could have even lasted through what you’ve been through?? God works with the authentic spirit, the unfit the different and indifferent being…not the manufactured being. God calls the different to make a difference.

God took unfit layman/women and made them Kings and Queens of nations. Surely God can promote you to your purpose. God doesn’t care if you are not run of the mill, not ideal, and not ready. God is your determination to make it and does get very involved in our affairs. So trust in God to know that you don’t have to hide for fear of judgement or something being taken away from you.

It is our will that God’s will be done.

God says,”Stand up and show yourself so you can pivot! I will feed you nourishment, you will not lack, I will give you your daily bread.”

Self-Empowerment: Judge Your Own Self

Coming out with your hidden successes will reveal to you more about people places and things currently around you than anyone could ever tell you about yourself. If everybody seems to know you…are you truly seeing yourself through your eyes or others? From which point in your life?

What is your answer if God asks, “Tell me about yourself?”

We are absolutely never as bad as people judge us. Open your destiny and be engulfed by your own light. Nobody judges the past…they judge what they see right in front of them and even that can be skewed, without knowing the past and no inclination of a future.

People grimace at physical scars…but have no idea how they got there.

I’m not wearing scars yet people grimace at my revealation of having been raised through the foster system. Then suddenly they change up on me as if a thousand scars suddenly appeared…and then with the closed off comments.

“Oh! You don’t look like it!” 😐
“I’m so sorry!”😐
“That’s terrible you had to go through that!”😐

I’m like,
What does foster care look like?🤨
Why are you apologizing?🤨
Who said it was terrible?🤨

The appropriate open-ended response would be (if at all),

“What was that like?”🤔

Curiosity would ask,
“Tell me more.”🤔☕

This is why I say,
Be your own judge…you know what you’ve been through, have done and have not done, and are doing. The best way to consciously have the future you desire is to work at it now…whether publicly or in private.

If you see a rock planted in the dirt that doesn’t mean there’s nothing under earth to trip you up. If you see a boulder planted in the dirt, that doesn’t mean there’s deep problems under earth.

Reach back and share with the people that struggled with you and encouraged you and helped you out of those dark places…then launch yourself forward into your season!

Self Evolution: We All Serve A Purpose

“‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better (for her), and it will not be taken away from her.’”
Luke 10:41-42

What a beautiful passage and great reminder that we all have unique purposes, and there is no need for competition. Everyone together managing the different parts of a clock can keep time right more than just twice a day.

Who wants to hear , “Be strong and be you (but in the capacity of my own comfort).”

Are you as useful in a pair of jeans serving food to hungry people as a CEO in a suit who employs 100 of the people you fed? Of course! Both of you are a source of strength in different capacities! And then there’s the person who just takes names. They don’t just take names, they make sure people are who they say they are before they can sign the paper to get into a place.

Everyone has a purpose.

One day Mary and Martha had a conflict between themselves about which one of them served Yeshua best when he visited them. Yeshua was like….

“‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better (for her), and it will not be taken away from her.’”
Luke 10:41-42

The tension in this competitive type world- the misunderstanding of another’s calling to do and be happens in personal and professional relationships anytime people become uneasy when others make change.

Martha opened her home to Yeshua, and Mary sat at his feet and opened her heart. Period. The vulnerability….the courage ….to do what the heart desires….to activate personal growth and purpose.

Living a life of spirituality isn’t about being better than others. Spiritually is about rising above ones own shortcomings to enhance personal purpose that at some point serves to the betterment of the whole….whether just one person, place or thing or a whole population.

Be great.🤞🏽

Self-Awareness: Pretending to Be Okay Is Not Okay

🗣️Anybody ever just talk at your head?

Many people are leaders but we don’t have to be leaders to be good listeners. Good listeners are energy attractive people. People who naturally make eye contact, smile, and are usually approachable…not always..usually. We all have our days of engaged solitude (enter caps, sunglasses and earplugs😎).

Ironically attractive people can simply do nothing and an associate/friend/stranger can just let it all out on them. If you’re an attractive person, you know what it is and what it feels like. From babies to the stranger on the bus, in the store aisle and so on; even animals just chill when they see you. There’s just something extra bright about an attractive person’s energy.

A question that energy attractive people ask is, “Why me?” And of course, everyone seems to know the universal answer, “Why not you?”

Think of that answer in any capacity in your life…in all your roles. Somebody wants your attention. And you have to set yourself up to listen to them as a listener, leader, provider.👂

To void just listening to people’s problems, and taking in excess energy (which can become a struggle for HSP and empathic persons) when someone comes to you, set the stage.

I advise my team often to set the tone of the conversation before they pick up the phone or conduct meetings, so not to overwhelm self in others energies.

But overall, I’ve done it and it has been done to me. We’re all pretty much riding on each other’s energies🫧

Ask them if they just want you to listen or do they want feedback. That way you know how much of yourself to give to the energy. Sometimes a conversation starts out simple, but can leave you feeling drained afterward-not always-sometimes.

We literally just all experienced a world event in which if we weren’t affected directly, we empathized with those who were. So we experienced sickness and lost with millions of other people! Whether we watched television or were in the room. And now we’re going into the next event, and there’ll be more mass events.

If we revive outlets, such as EAP and mental health day/week with very open eyes and open minds to listeners and providers, we can divert a mass “walk out”. The current “walkout” is identified as quiet-quitting, and is picking up speed. There are no symptoms, this is reaction-based behaviors – from people of all ages, races, and positions. We can’t call it annoying or redirect reactions for so long under the notion that because we take on titles, that the titles will shield us iron clad from very real energy glitches as a result of real world mass events. They can’t separate it right now the underserved world is still mourning. ☕

Being informed results from listening in nonjudgmental zones. Then providing as much regular empowerment support, whether professionally or personally, is one way to restart to build better and strong plateaus that people trust and want to be a part of. Be encouraged.👍#team #mentalhealthawareness
