Imagine you have bills to pay off that’s been stressing you for months…boom you get your tax return AND a stimulus check…cool! You go on social media and you see ten posts telling you “Invest in your own business NOW and get rich!” So you take your money give it to them strangers and three months from now you haven’t made a sell…and now you won’t because your lights gas rent fridge is off over due and empty.
The average person has to fail at least 3-7 small businesses before the big one pays off. I’ve owned more than 10 businesses…all self-invested..and sometimes at the expense of something else I knew I should’ve taken care off instead.
I stole from myself to fit in with the rich people..and suffered consequences…even became homeless once..trying to convince myself that if I consistently paid into being a business owner I’d be able to take care of my family from the side of a pool where everyday was sunny…like on TV. Well it was more like the side of a road (not literally).
The inspiring speeches are cute and do well for some.. that’s how they make their money…telling you how to make money…duh..!
At the end of the day…if you can’t consistently pay your necessary bills that you need to sustain your living…you will not be disciplined to setup, run and own a business.
So wish them people well and practice perfecting your independent living skills. Keep your lights on and your family housed and fed. Do that consistently for 5 years if you were raised by adults…10 years if you were raised by yourself…THEN you can boss yourself up.
I LOVE WORKING IN HUMAN SERVICES AND MY EMPLOYER IS AWESOME! I MANAGE MY MONEY TO WHERE I CAN ENJOY THE SAME PRIVILEGES AS THE UPPER CLASS…IF I WANT TO.
IT’S OKAY TO HAVE DEGREES, A CAREER, AND AN EMPLOYER. JUST MAKE SURE IT’S SOMETHING YOU LIKE BEING AND DOING!
